Welcome to Maths Tutoring Solutions! We are a team of dedicated tutors founded by three university students who share a passion for maths. Our mission is to fill gaps left by schools as we believe that with the right guidance and support, anyone can excel in maths. We provide personalised and engaging sessions that cater to the unique needs of each student, fulfilling their potential and building confidence. Our approach focuses on exam technique and creating a deep understanding of foundational topics. All our tutors are leaders in their subjects, possessing the highest mathematical capabilities. Every team member has an A* in the subjects they tutor, and all have DBS Enhanced background checks.

Hi! I am an undergraduate Economics student at the University of Warwick. When I sat my A-levels, I had to learn what teaching methods and revision styles worked well for me. My own experience of experimenting with different styles of learning and revising has helped me during my time as a tutor, as I know that not everybody learns in the same way. Many students find maths intimidating at school due to poor teaching and large classes. My objective is to fill in the gaps left by schools by building a deep understanding of foundational knowledge and becoming confident in your own abilities. Exam technique is a key focus of my lessons, so nobody is unprepared on exam day.

Hi! I am an Engineering student at the University of Cambridge. With my passion for learning, I look forward to helping future STEM students reach their goals. I understand the commitment and revision techniques it takes to perform well in exams, having achieved 11 9s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A-level. My sessions will build deep base knowledge of difficult concepts so my students are confident with all topics. I also focus heavily on developing exam technique and will share secrets on how best to prepare for the real exams using tricks and resources I found and developed when revising for the exams myself. My lessons are productive but relaxed as it is important to create an environment where it feels safe to get something wrong.

Hi! I am a second year undergraduate Maths student at the University of Warwick. In school I achieved 9’s in both Maths and Further Maths GCSE and A*s in both Maths and Further Maths A Level, giving me a base of knowledge covering all areas of school maths. Since my secondary school was unable to provide A Level Further Maths lessons, I taught myself and in doing so gained a deeper understanding of the content as well as a unique insight into the methods and resources that can fill in the gaps that school teaching leaves. My lessons will be focused on creating a solid understanding of the content and then consolidating this with repetition of practice and feedback on exam-style questions.
